Our humble beginnings and philosophy
The idea to create SciWrite Solutions began in a coffee shop in Massachusetts in 2015. Since then, we have serviced hundreds of authors worldwide, from senior scientists submitting their latest discoveries to high-impact journals to Ph.D. students seeking our expertise to polish their dissertations or cover letters. Our mission has always been to provide the kind of service that you would expect from larger editing companies such as Editage, American Journal Experts, or Scribendi for a fraction of what these companies charge. In fact, all of our editors have worked for larger editing firms and are thus highly knowledgeable of the needs and expectations of our clients. Additionally, by keeping our operating costs as low as possible, we allocate more of what you pay to compensate our editors instead of burdening both you and our editors with our overhead costs. We pride ourselves on being a small customer-oriented company and we encourage all of our clients to contact us whenever they have questions or doubts.

Our prices are among the lowest in the market considering the scope of our services and turnaround times. For comparison, Editage charges up to 40% more for similar services, including checking compliance with journal-specific requirements, whereas American Journal Experts and BioScience Writers may charge between 45% and 70% more.
